Have your say

If you have the next Flavia Cacace or Michael Flatley currently pirouetting their tiny feet around your living room then it’s time to give them the chance to perform for real in an exciting local panto.

The Kings Theatre is holding open auditions to find this year’s junior and senior pantomime stars for forthcoming show Aladdin.

If you have a child aged seven-years-old or more who would like to dance in Aladdin then they need to appear at the Kings Theatre, Albert Road, Southsea, PO5 2QJ on Sunday September 14 from 10am onwards.

At 10.00am the Junior boys and girls audition takes place (maximum height 5’2) followed at 2.30pm by the Senior boys and girls (minimum height 5’2).

Candidates will be auditioned in groups and taught a short dance routine so everyone should arrive wearing suitable clothes.

If successful, candidates need to be available for rehearsals mainly after school and at weekends.

Aladdin runs from Tuesday, December 9, 2014 – Sunday, January 4, 2015.
