HEAR’SAY star Noel Sullivan will be heading up the cast in this year’s Ferneham Hall pantomime.

The popstar and actor will be playing Prince Valiant in Jordan Productions’ adaptation of Sleeping Beauty at the Fareham theatre.

Noel shot to stardom in 2001 on Popstars – the ITV series which put together the band Hear’Say and paved the way for other reality talent shows such as The X Factor.

The groups’ debut track, Pure and Simple, became the fastest selling number one single in UK history.

Since the band split in 2002 Noel has been a regular on TV, having made appearances in Gavin and Stacey, The Royal Variety Show and Trust Me I’m a Holiday Rep and he will be on our screens this autumn as a regular character in the second series of BBC hit drama Ordinary Lies.

He’s also no stranger to the stage and has been in London’s West End starring in Grease and numerous national tours including Rock of Ages, Priscilla Queen of the Desert and Dirty Rotten Scoundrels.

Other cast names are to be announced soon.

The panto runs from December 9 to 31. Go to fernehamhall.co.uk or call the box office on 01329 231942
