Prepare for an adventure on the high seas as The Point Youth Theatre takes over the venue in Eastleigh for its performance of Treasure Island.

The performance will be taking place from December 19-24.

The race is on to find Captain Flint’s buried treasure. Led by the fearless Long John Silver and fuelled by their need for Flint’s gold, a ragtag group of bandits find themselves aboard the Hispaniola on a journey that will change their lives forever.

Members of the Youth Theatre got into character ahead of the production.

As pictured, they caught front of house assistant Keith Dixon by surprise when they crept up on him on box office.

This production brings Robert Louis Stevenson’s swashbuckling novel to life with the help of its creative team, the brains behind previous shows The Snow Queen and The Wind in the Willows.

Drama and action sequences are accompanied by sea shanties guaranteed to have families singing all the way home.

Suitable for children aged five and above. Tickets: £10, £8 for concessions.
