An exciting summer school at The Spring Arts and Heritage Centre, Havant will enable 10–16-year-olds to make the most of their summer holidays and explore their creativity.

Over three days from August 20–22 young dancers can learn about choreography, use their creativity to devise a dance and then perform it on stage at the end of the course.

The tutor for this workshop is Luisa Ricci, a professional dancer who has had an extensive career in all areas of dance including ballet, contemporary dance, jazz, hip hop, Irish dance and musical theatre.

Luisa has a keen interest in getting more young people involved in the performing arts and this summer school offers a chance to see whether a career in dance might be for you.

The workshop runs from 10am–4pm each day, and costs £60 for the three days.

Packed lunches are available, priced £4, and include a filled roll, crisps, fruit or cake and a fruit juice drink.
