Young actors from The Point Youth Theatre in Eastleigh swap the stage for the ‘plains’ of Africa to perform at Marwell Zoo until August 9.
The performance celebrates the opening of the zoo’s biggest ever exhibit Wild Explorers, where visitors are immersed into the animals’ environment to view white rhinos, zebras and scimitar-horned oryxes.
Wild Explorers brings to life the story of an orphaned baby rhino who searches for his family.
It will be the third time the members of the youth theatre have performed at the zoo, following a staging of the Jungle Book and a piece called Leopard.
The Wild Explorers will be performed at 12.30pm and 2.30pm until Sunday, August 9, excluding Monday, August 3, so visit Marwell Zoo to see this performance.
