THEATRE: Celebrated writer CS Lewis, spends his evening replying many correspondents and one stands out: vivid, expressive, New York poet Joy Gresham.  Chichester Festival Theatre, Friday, 7.30pm. 

 

FILM: The White Crow follows the incredible true story of legendary dancer Rudolf Nureyev is brought vividly to life by Ralph Fiennes and David Hare. No6 Cinema, Portsmouth Dockyard, Friday, 7pm.

CONCERT: Horndean Parish Twinning Association presents A Concert Evening with Blendworth Brass Band, who will play an array of music. Tickets £5. Blendworth Church Centre, Horndean, Thursday, 7.30pm.

 

GIG: Sleaford Mods are one of the most politically charged and thought-provoking duos on the UK's music scene. They will be playing songs from their album Eton Alive. Wedgewood Rooms, Southsea, Thursday, 7pm.
