A panel of judges will determine which beer should go through as a regional finalist in Camra’s national winter beer festival.

Co-organiser Dave Livingstone can’t wait for the occasion.

He said: ‘We are really, really excited about it.

‘I’m looking forward to trying ales from the Bath and Bristol area, and this will be a winter festival focusing on different winter varieties like stouts and porters.

‘It’s Gosport’s premier beer festival and the largest one the Camra branch do.’ Tickets can be bought from The Sirloin of Beef, in Eastney, The Hole in The Wall, in Southsea, The Brew Pot, in Gosport, The Queens Hotel, in Gosport, and The Crofton, in Stubbington.
