Pawfect day at the spa with Brindley

Speaking of friends, the whole reason I had such a great day yesterday in the first place, is because my best feline friend Brindley Milligan won two tickets for a spa day – and he chose me to go.

When I heard the news my tail was wagging ferociously.

The thought of paw massages, cucumber eye masks and a belly exfoliation was too much to bear.

Brindley and I packed our cases for a day of relaxing and then a sleepover in the log cabin at the spa. How exciting.

On arrival we were greeted with big bowls of water and the most delicious treats. Our first port of call was to each get a massage.

Being the athletic, energetic, helpful beast that I am, it came as no surprise that I was told I had lots of knots in my back.

Brindley purred with satisfaction as the lady at the spa worked out the kinks from underneath his chin. Cats love being tickled there.

After all our treatments I felt like a new dog, my paws were as clean as a whistle, my tail was as soft as snow and I felt like I was on cloud nine.

The cabin Brindley and I stayed in was so cool, it had bunk beds, a climbing frame, and the ceiling was made to look like we were outside with twinkles and glowing stars. A pawfect night.
