APPRENTICE hopefuls Ricky Martin and Katie Wright have scraped through another round of the television show, after both finding themselves in the bottom three.
Lord Sugar blamed Ricky’s mismanagement of a production team for the failure of the task, but instead fired fellow contestant, Michael Copp, claiming he was out of his depth.
Ricky, 26, from Stubbington, who claims to be the ‘reflection of perfection’, failed to make enough spicy ketchup to win team Phoenix the task.
It was pointed out that he had too many people cooking the table sauce rather than filling the bottles.
Despite firing Michael, Lord Sugar was keen to point out to Ricky that he thought ‘the failure of the task was absolutely down to the factory and the fact that not enough product was produced.’
Portsmouth University graduate Katie Wright also found herself in trouble after stepping over to the boys’ team and taking on the role of project manager.
It was the third week out of three she had been on the losing team and the second week in a row she faced the boardroom.
Lord Sugar warned that he did not want to see her there again.
