VICTORIOUS REVIEW: Mark loves playing to the '˜rowdiest' crowd

Portsmouth is well-known for many things '“ and now it's got a new accolade under its belt.

Because according to legendary producer and DJ Mark Ronson, Portsmouth was the ‘rowdiest’ crowd he’s played to all summer. But it’s okay because he ‘loves’ it.

He kicked off his energetic set at Castle Stage last night with a selection of his hits from past and present including Bang Bang Bang and Ooh Wee.

Old and young were on their feet dancing as he played an energetic set, mixing old school hip hop with some modern rap and soul.

Things really got funky when he launched into his biggest hit Uptown Funk, which naturally got a huge reception.

He ended the set with a touching tribute to the late Amy Winehouse, playing Valerie and asking the audience to join in to celebrate her life.
