After critically acclaimed shows in Southsea and Fareham in January and Eastleigh and Southampton in March and April, comedian/activist Mark Thomas returns to the area for a show in Portsmouth next week.
He’s bringing his Extreme Rambling (Walking The Wall) tour to the New Theatre Royal on Guildhall Square from 7.30pm on Wednesday.
The show is based around Mark’s recent trip to the Middle East, in which he walked the entire 423 miles of the Israeli Separation Barrier around and in the West Bank.
The night will feature numerous anecdotes, comic observations and a fascinating insight into an ancient and still very current conﬂict.
Earlier this year, Mark told The Guide: ‘We walked and talked with architects involved in building the wall, workers who crossed the wall illegally, officers who were patrolling the wall, students, farmers, shepherds, police, political prisoners...’
