Police charge two men over suspected county line network bringing drugs into Hampshire

London-based pair Mohamed Mukhtar, 22, and Mohammed Warsame, 21, were arrested on Tuesday and appeared before Basingstoke Magistrates Court yesterday.
Both men were arrested in London as part of a drugs investigation into a county line being run from the city into north Hampshire between November 2020 and March 2021.

Hide AdOfficers located a large amount of cash and mobile phones at the time of arrest.
Mukhtar, of Francis Chichester Way, London, has been charged with being concerned in the supply of heroin and crack cocaine and possession with intent to supply heroin and crack cocaine.
Warsame, of Voltaire Court, Battersea, London, has been charged with being concerned in the supply of heroin and crack cocaine, possession with intent to supply heroin and crack cocaine and possession of criminal property.
The pair have been remanded in custody.
They are next due to appear at Winchester Crown Court for a pre-trial public hearing on April 28.
