Hide AdAs part of the government’s ‘roadmap’ out of the pandemic, non-essential retail stores have been given the green light to resume trading.
In Whiteley that means clothing shops like H&M, Next and JD Sports will be open once again, as well as the centre’s hairdressers, beauty salon and Rock Up climbing experience.
A selection of other restaurants and cafés including Wagamama, Nando’s, Prezzo and Bar + Block and more will also have outdoor space for customers to enjoy seated dining in groups of up to six people or two households.
To help keep everybody safe, the centre will continue to have its one way ‘keep left’ system, hand sanitising stations and enhanced cleaning regimes in place. All visitors must also wear a face covering in stores unless exempt for medical reasons.

Hide AdMia Gordon, centre director at Whiteley, said: ‘We’re really excited to welcome everyone back to Whiteley. It’s a long-awaited return for many of our retailers, as well as a chance for newcomer Baja Mexacali to open its doors here for the first time.
‘It’s of course really important that we all continue to work together to help keep everybody safe. Everyone visiting us in the coming weeks can expect to see all of our extra safety measures still in place, and our team will be on the ground helping to remind customers of the government guidance.’
Opening times and policies of individual retailers may vary, so it is always recommended that you check with them directly before setting off.
