Counter-terror police charge Portsmouth man formerly known as Mustakim Jaman with breaching of terrorist notification requirements

Isaac Idris – jailed in 2015 under the name of Mustakim Jaman after being convicted of preparing terrorist acts – is accused of failing to tell police of financial information, a phone number and email addresses.
The 29-year-old was arrested by Counter Terrorism Policing South East officers on July 27.

Hide AdHe has been charged with five breaches of a Part 4 Terrorist Notification Order, under Section 54 of the Counter Terrorism Act 2008.
Idris, of Hudson Road, Somers Town, is due to appear at Westminster Magistrates’ Court on August 10.
