Fareham police arrest boys, aged 12 and 13, on suspicion of racist anti-social behaviour

Residents have reported that groups of young people were causing issues around the borough, specifically near Fareham Leisure Centre and Whiteley Shopping Centre between February 12 and April 22.
Police arrested two boys aged 12 and 13 yesterday, according to a social media post by Fareham police.

Hide AdIn the post, an officer said: ‘A 12-year-old boy was arrested on suspicion of two counts of racially aggravated Public Order and one count of committing a public order offence.
‘A 13-year-old boy was also arrested on suspicion of two counts of racially aggravated Public Order, one count of committing a public order offence and one count of theft.’
They remain in custody.
The post added: ‘As always, anyone who witnesses any suspicious activity or suspects illegal activity may be taking place in their local neighbourhood, they are asked to contact the police by using the online reporting portal via the Hampshire Constabulary website or calling 101.
