Portsmouth man arrested for taking child from teenage legal guardian and drug driving on M275

Officers initially spotted the 24-year-old driving along the A3 last night.
Hampshire roads policing unit were supported by the Hampshire and Thames Valley Police Armed Response squad.
They managed to stop the vehicle on the M275.

Hide AdOnce halted, the driver was confirmed as wanted by police, and tested for drug driving.
The man was found to have taken a child from their teenage legal guardian.
A drugwipe came back positive for cannabis and cocaine, and he was detained.
A spokesman from Hampshire Constabulary said: ‘At around 10.45pm a 24-year-old man from Portsmouth was stopped and arrested on the M275.
