Southsea Common stabbing: 15-year-old victim in 'stable condition' in hospital, police say
Two air ambulances and dozens of police officers were called to the Naval Memorial at 9pm on Monday, after a 15-year-old boy was stabbed in the chest.
The teenager suffered serious injuries and was rushed to Southampton General Hospital.

Hide AdNow police say that he remains in hospital and is in a stable condition.
A 17-year-old boy and an 18-year-old man from Southsea were arrested on suspicion of attempted murder and remain in police custody.
A spokeswoman from Hampshire Constabulary said: ‘The two people arrested yesterday remain in police custody – no further arrests made at this time.’
The distressing crime caused widespread shock across Southsea, with police cordoning off the Naval Memorial for much of Tuesday.
