120 jobs created at new family-owned care home
Family-owned care home operator Colten Care will be welcoming residents at Wellington Grange, in Chichester from today.
The 72-bedroom home, by the corner of Broyle Road and Wellington Road, is the company’s largest so far.

Hide AdWhen it reaches full capacity, it will create up to 120 jobs for nurses, healthcare assistants, activity organisers, social carers and other ancillary staff.
Facilities include an in-house cinema, hairdressing salon, Brandy Hole library, Royal Sussex Dining Room and Sandpiper Bistro.
Clare Gibson, home manager, said: ‘Wellington Grange offers beautiful, creative interior spaces, imaginatively landscaped gardens, delicious homemade food and state-of-the-art facilities, all underpinned by exceptional care standards. We want to help our residents and their friends and families find comfort and enjoyment in each day.’
At 4,138sq m, Wellington Grange is the largest out of its 20 homes Colten Care has built so far. It took nearly two years to build, and employed 426 site workers.

he mayor of Chichester, councillor Peter Budge, was due to open the care home today at 11.30am.
An open day is taking place next Wednesday, April 13, from 11.30am, where people can go on tours, as well as meeting TV health presenter and author Dr Hilary Jones.
