Campaign for Real Ale begins consultation over its future

A SERIES of consultation events around the UK are planned to determine the future of the Campaign for Real Ale (Camra).

The beer organisation – which has a Portsmouth and south-east Hampshire branch – has decided to carry out a review into whether it needs a complete re-structure. Camra has confirmed public meetings will be held over the coming weeks in Cambridge, London and the Isle of Man.

No details have been released yet as to whether a meeting will take place in the Portsmouth region. Local members have already agreed changes would be a good idea.
