Deliveroo reveals cream of the crop takeaway choices in Waterlooville - and two pints of milk from Morrisons is one of the most ordered items

AS DELIVEROO celebrates a year of service in Waterlooville, the takeaway giant has revealed the area’s favourite orders – with Morrisons’ milk making the top five.

Since launching in the area, more than 30 restaurants have signed up to the platform and almost 80 people have taken on jobs as Deliveroo riders.

Now the app has revealed Waterlooville resident’s favourite orders, with an extra larger bacon double cheeseburger from Burger King taking the top spot.

The next most popular orders were large cod and chips from Cowplain Fish Bar, a boneless banquet box meal from KFC, and chicken tikka meal from Lime Leaf Fusion.

And just making it into the top five was two pints of Morrisons semi-skimmed milk.

The app is at its busiest at 8pm on Saturday nights.

Harison Foster, regional director for the UK said: ‘Our whole team here at Deliveroo are delighted that our rapid growth in Waterlooville over the past year means that customers have more choice, restaurants are able to increase their revenue, and riders have the opportunity to choose well-paid, flexible work.’

Sixty per cent of Waterlooville restaurants on Deliveroo are independent businesses.
