Announcing its return on Facebook, Mick’s Monster Burgers wrote: ‘From Monday we will be opening again for strict takeaway only abiding to the government advice on social distances.

‘We have constructed a queuing system to help you keep two meters apart from others and we have introduced a slightly smaller menu to help us serve you as efficiently as possible.

‘All our food will be sauced and wrapped ready for you to takeaway and eat at home or your workplace. We would also encourage only one member of each group to join the queue.

‘We would like to remind you of the government advice on essential travel and although coming out for food comes under this category the viewpoint itself does not and is currently under strict police surveillance.

‘Members of the public caught sunbathing or having picnics are being moved on immediately so please only come to the car park to collect takeaway.

‘Please at all times follow the government guidelines and stay home wherever possible, keep safe and protect the NHS.’
