Costa comes to Cowplain

A NEW Costa has opened and it's not just coffee lovers who are delighted by it.

The store in Cowplain has sponsored Emsworth & Hayling Over-50s Walking Football Club – buying the team new kits, match balls and training bibs.

The new 1,800sq ft cafe was officially opened by members of the team.

Costa’s operations manager Matt Coulthard said: ‘We want to embed ourselves as part of the community and what better way to do that than involve ourselves with our local walking football club? As well as providing kits and equipment, we look forward to sponsoring the inaugural Costa Cup, a tournament on November 20, with teams from across the region.’

The store has brought seven new jobs to the town.
