DDB Physiotherapy in Lee-on-the-Solent takes its services across Hampshire with its mobile clinic in the back of a van
DDB Physiotherapy, in Lee-on-the-Solent, is offering services to residents across Hampshire with its new physiotherapy van.
Fully refurbished and kitted-out with a bespoke mobile clinic inside, it is being driven by the clinic’s owner, Didi Berry, who opened the clinic in 2004.

Didi had to find ways to evolve her business due to the ever-changing guidelines and came up with the concept of mobile physiotherapy from a van, making physiotherapy more accessible.
She said that although the clinic remained open, people were reluctant to go out and visit a physical clinic, which was why she decided to switch up her business model.
She will offer traditional physiotherapy services to people suffering from musculoskeletal issues.

She said: ‘We came up with the idea over lockdown, as we were wondering how we could diversify to increase business and awareness. We wanted to be more versatile and mobile for the local community.
‘By doing this, we can reach more people throughout the community and hopefully improve more peoples’ lives throughout Hampshire.
‘We will also try to stick to the main bus routes when we park up, to ensure people can get to us as easily as possible.

The Lee-on-the-Solent clinic offers several different approaches, all undertaken by trained professionals, to help people with several issues, such as podiatry, sports massage, holistic therapy including Swedish and Indian massage and reflexology.
The team are also neuro physiotherapists, which help people suffering from neurological conditions or diseases, such as Parkinson’s, multiple sclerosis or those who have suffered a stroke.
Over lockdown, the team offered virtual appointments, which it is continuing to offer for those who don’t want to visit the clinic.
