A decade in business is marked with a party

Mediation Now, a Havant firm that offers support and guidance for families to communicate, negotiate and resolve issues, was set up in 2007 by Rebecca Hawkins and Claire Webb.

Rebecca said: ‘Claire and I feel really proud to have achieved 10 years; when we started Mediation Now, mediation was not very ‘‘mainstream’’ and we had to work hard to make sure that it was tried before more traditional methods.

‘We are both solicitors, so we were tired of the standard adversarial approach, and knew that this could work. Now it’s part of the family law protocol and part of everyday language.’

A celebratory lunch was held at the Chimes Restaurant to mark the occasion.
