Deliveroo looks for riders as it expands into Fareham

RIDERS are wanted for a food delivery company which is set to expand into a town next month to meet '˜huge' levels of demand from customers.

Deliveroo, the popular restaurant delivery service which has a team of cyclists, scooter and motorbike riders, is set to expand into Fareham this month and is on the lookout for new recruits.

The team is looking for riding enthusiasts who enjoy cycling as a hobby or individuals who are looking for a way to keep fit.

Caroline Hazlehurst, general manager at Deliveroo, said: ‘We’ve seen a huge demand for Deliveroo in Fareham and we’re excited to be launching next month; we’re feeling very positive about the creation of new work opportunities for local people.

The service will deliver food from more than 15 restaurants across the town and claims it will be delivered to customers’ doors within half-an-hour.
