Excitement as new store opens in Cosham for British Heart Foundation

A NEW shop has taken its place in a Portsmouth high street, as the British Heart Foundation opens a new store.

Opening yesterday, shoppers in Cosham High Street were welcomedÂ with a cutting of the ribbon, while customers from the surrounding area headed down to bag some bargains from the new store.

The shop will help the British Heart Foundation toÂ fund innovative life-saving research into heart and circulatory disease.

Area manager Preston Davies said: '˜The opening of the new Cosham shop went extremely well.

'˜Each item sold will help the British Heart Foundation fund life-saving heart research, so if you haven't yet visited, please do come by to see what great bargains are on offer.

'˜We are also still in need of more donations so if you are having a clear out in the next few weeks, we would love to receive any unwanted clothing and accessories.'
