Festival returns to garden centre

CRAFT stalls and live music are set to take over a garden centre for a charity festival.

The Mount Folly Charity Festival will take place tomorrow at Mount Folly Nurseries in Wickham, in aid of Naomi House and The Rowans Hospice.

This year marks the fourth family-run charity event to take place at the centre.

Organiser Dielle Hannah, who is the director of Igloo Music UK, said: ‘These charities are both very special to me. The Rowans has provided end-of-life care for two of our family members, and I worked for a children’s hospital abroad when I was 18. It’s a privilege to work with charities that provide such essential services to families in dire circumstances.’

Hosted by the Mount Folly and Hampshire Hot Tubs team, the event run will from 10am until 4pm inside the garden centre structures, providing an outdoor festival atmosphere. A variety of arts and crafts stalls are supporting the event, and there will be face painting, entertainment and an open mic event. Entry costs £1.50.
