Gosport coach trip firm delighted to be back in business

Solent Events & Leisure has restarted its coach trips after receiving a ‘We’re Good To Go’ industry standard and consumer mark from VisitEngland.

Lin Wilson, from the firm, said: ‘We have been offering some professionally organised Christmas cheer.

‘We’ve enjoyed several away days and a tour to the Isle of Wight since mid-September. So we’re well-rehearsed with temperature checking, hand-sanitising and social distancing.

‘We are allowed 37 on a 54-seater coach and so 36 of us were very excited to visit the spectacular illuminations at Leonardslee Lakes in West Sussex last Friday.’

The firm is restarting theatre trips this weekend.

Lin said: ‘We’re off to The Mill at Sonning Theatre, near Reading on Sunday, so our theatre lovers are getting very excited once again.

‘This will be the only Christmas social event for many of our clients this year, so with a pre-theatre seasonal lunch in the Mill’s excellent restaurant and the matinee performance of Christmas Crackers, we’re in for a real treat!’
