Hampshire firm does its bit for good cause

Employees at Thomas Sanderson, which designs and manufactures conservatory blinds and shutters, raised £500 for Naomi House & Jacksplace.

Naomi House & Jacksplace is one of the company’s 10 nominated charities and provides expert hospice care to life-limited and life-threatened children and their families across the region.

Sarah Hudson, the charity’s area fundraiser, visited the firm’s headquarters to meet the people behind the donation.

She said: ‘It was wonderful to meet so many Thomas Sanderson personnel and be able to thank them in person for their tremendous efforts for Naomi House & Jacksplace.

‘They certainly had some creative ways of fundraising and we truly appreciate their efforts for us.

‘The firm has raised enough to fund 25 hours of invaluable nursing care for some of the region’s most medically complex children.’

Andrew Briggs, business development director at Thomas Sanderson, said: ‘It was a pleasure to welcome Sarah and to hear how the money raised by the whole team will make a difference to young people and their families.

‘As a significant employer in the local area we believe it’s important to give something back to the communities we work within.’
