Law firm's decade of help

A LAW firm has reached its 10th year of supporting a national will-writing campaign.

Jasper Vincent Solicitors, in Segensworth, is one of 100 firms across the UK to reach the milestone – between them clocking up 1,000 years of fundraising for Will Aid and raising a combined total of £1.5m.

The scheme sees firms set aside time in November to write basic wills in exchange for a donation instead of a fee.

That money is then split between nine of the UK’s best-loved charities.

Angela Pelleschi, a partner, said: ‘We are extremely proud of our team for giving up their time and using their skills for one month, every single year for the last decade and it is testament to our team that this has been possible, with continuing success.’

Will Aid has raised more than £17m for charity since it launched 25 years ago.
