New M&S in Havant launches photography contest

To celebrate the opening of M&S Havant on July 14, locals are being offered the chance to put their photography skills to the test.

Lincoln Ashley, the new store manager, explained: ‘To help celebrate the arrival of M&S Havant we want to know what residents love most about the town through photos.

‘This is a unique opportunity for someone’s photography to be transformed into a greeting card, which will be sold at M&S Havant.

‘We’re really excited to see the final shot and unveil it at our opening.’

The opening of the store is creating about 100 jobs.

It comes as Solent Retail Park has expanded and now also includes a larger Next store.

The closing date for the competition is July 11 and one winner will then be selected from the entries received.

They will receive a mounted and framed copy of their photo and the greeting card will be available to buy at the store.

To enter the contest, people should send their photo with a caption describing the image, along with contact details, to [email protected].
