Fuego’s Street Food has opened up in London Road, North End, offering a menu-full of affordable meals with vegetarian and vegan options available.
The staff, who all have at least five years experience of working in restaurants, with two coming from city firms Shake and Grill and Umami, wanted to make the new joint inclusive.

Manager Mohammed Tafimus said: ‘We don’t want anyone to feel left out if they are eating with friends or family and they are vegan or vegetarian.
‘We have got an option for everyone, whether they want vegan food, chicken, beef or lamb, we try to cater to everyone’s tastes.’
Some of the food at Fuego’s includes a range of wraps and burgers, as well as platters and grilled chicken meals.

The person spent weeks trialling different recipes to create the whole menu from scratch.
All of the food is prepared fresh every day by the team.
Mr Tafimus said: ‘Everyone that works here has a passion for food.
‘The quality is high and we try to reach for the best products so our customers are always happy.’

They also cater for children. As well as food, they serve mocktails, such as alcohol-free mojitos and a mix of blended milkshakes, including Kinder Bueno and Aero.
During their first week in mid-February the joint gave away 1,500 free burgers, which proved popular with customers returning to buy more.
Diners can enjoy Fuego’s’ meals in the restaurant, or can order them to be delivered through Deliveroo or JustEat.
