Offers on Portsmouth attractions to boost tourism

FAMILIES can enjoy all Portsmouth has to offer with a number of the city's attractions having discounts for English Tourism Week.

Visitors to Portsmouth’s attractions and venues can take advantage of the offers next week. Throughout the week there will be a variety of different offers on different days including:

n free entry to Charles Dickens’ Birthplace Museum on March 5

n 30 per cent off admission to the Spinnaker Tower

n a New Theatre Royal Uncovered tour on March 11

n two for one entry on specific days at the D-Day Museum, Royal Navy Submarine Museum, Royal Marines Museum and Explosion Museum.

Children can also swim for £1 during Super Splash sessions at the Pyramids Centre.​

Cllr Luke Stubbs, Portsmouth City Council’s cabinet member for economic development, said: ‘Tourism is vital to Portsmouth as a city and is of huge benefit to the economy.’
