Petition to save hovercraft nears 20,500 signatures
SUPPORT is still gathering to save the biggest hovercraft in the world from being scrapped.
A petition to save SRN4 Princess Anne has nearly 20,500 signatures.
Trustees of the Hovercaft Museum, in Lee-on-the-Solent, set up the petition after it was revealed the hovercraft could be scrapped by landowner the Homes and Communities Agency.
A recent meeting between parties had ‘positive talks’ on the future of the 250-ton vessel.
