Portsmouth mums set up new website that lets other parent sell bundles of unwanted children's items

Nicola Moss and Charmain Tyler, both 32, set-up Bundely after both having children of their own and realising how much unwanted clothing, toys and children’s items they had cluttering up their homes. 

Nicola has one child, two-year-old Ruben, while Charmain has two, four-year-old Henry and two-year-old Olivia. 

The two, who have been friends for 20 years had the idea  to sell bundles of unwanted items rather than selling their individual items on existing selling sites because they felt like it was too time consuming. 

They were also conscious of the impacts of fast fashion on the environment and wanted to prevent waste. 

Nicola said: ‘Climate change is definitely something we were conscious of. I like to shop in charity shops a lot of the time and like to find good second hand items to re-use.’ 

They have recently received a waste prevention community grant from Hampshire County Council of £4800 to use towards setting up their business. 

They run the business online from their homes in Waterlooville and Emsworth. 

Bundely users can choose from ten categories made up of clothes, shoes, toys, bedding and even maternity-wear and can choose their preferred sizes, genders and whether they would like a small, medium or a large bundle.  

It is free to list on the site.

 The website launched on July 17 and is now open for people to buy and sell their bundles.
