Portsmouth salon manager named as one of the best in the UK

THE manager of a Portsmouth hair salon has been named one of the best in the UK.

Tony Wood Hairdressing’s salon manager Liam Fry has secured a finalist position in HJ’s British Hairdressing Awards 2019.

He will be competing against six other salon managers throughout the UK in the salon of the year category.

He said: ‘Working with people is stretching, but it’s also the most wonderful experience.

‘Managing a salon is more than just overseeing what happens practically on a daily basis, it’s about creating amazing connections within the team.

‘I absolutely love my job and I’m thrilled to be nominated.’

A final interview will determine the winner, who will be announced at a ceremony at the Park Plaza Hotel, London on September 9.
