Pryzm team '˜cannot wait' to host awards after party

Staff at Pryzm nightclub contacted The News to secure their venue as the host of the after party for the prestigious ceremony..

Organisers have announced their excitement to be involved in the event, which attracts hundreds of business professionals from the south.

Sales and events manager at Pryzm, Jane Wilson said: ‘Before working at Pryzm I attended The Business Excellence Awards and had a fantastic evening.

‘Seeing around 5500 people in one room supporting each other and letting their hair down after a year of hard work is so exciting and opens your eyes to the unique companies in our region.

‘I contacted The News earlier in the year to arrange Pryzm being the host of the after party because I know that it is always a really fun, entertaining night for all involved and I wanted our team to be a part of that. I cannot wait!’

Just a five minute stroll from the Portsmouth Guildhall, the nightclub underwent a huge £1m refurbishment in June of this year.

The club has three different rooms, to cater to all music tastes a commercial and R&B room, a room that plays dance anthems and top chart hits and a 90s and noughties room with a flashing dance floor.

Guests attending the after party will get free entry to the club, access to all three rooms and access to VIP corporate booths that seat up to 15 people.

The booths provide the opportunity to relax and mix with others in between dancing.

Jane said: ‘We have launched Pryzm as a stylish venue to a slightly older crowd.

It is very different from its predecessor, Liquid and Envy,

‘We offer a glamorous, safe and fun environment with great music, great drinks and the opportunity to dance and celebrate all of your achievements with friends - especially after the buzz of the ceremony.’

The News Business Excellence Awards take place at the Portsmouth Guildhall on February 25.

The deadline for entries for this prestigious ceremony is December 1.
