Recruitment consultant is handed top award

Adam, from Havant, is a specialist rail recruiter and works at ARM Recruitment, in Havant.

He won the Recruiter of the Year award at the 10th annual RailStaff Awards, held at the Ricoh Stadium in Coventry on October 8.

He said: ‘I feel proud and humbled. To have your clients, contractors, friends and colleagues recognise your work is a great feeling.’

Managing director Leon Howgill said: ‘I’m extremely proud of Adam. To be recognised by the industry you recruit within is a tremendous accolade for Adam and ARM.’

Adam developed his desk as a junior consultant four years ago. He worked to build a reputation within the industry and to become the first port of call for sourcing high calibre rail talent.

He is also due to star on an American television show called Top Recruiter.

Adam was hand-picked as one of just two Europeans to appear in the show, alongside Dragons’ Den star James Caan and West Ham’s vice-chairwoman Karren Brady.
