Southern Rail said it will have more services for strike than previous industrial action
SOUTHERN Rail has said it will run more extended services during this week's industrial action than it managed during previous strikes.
Nearly all the company’s stations will have either a train or bus service ‘of some description’ for the next three days. Many routes will have trains running later in the day with 80 more trains than before and 61 per cent of its normal timetable running.
There will also be extra staff at stations to help.
But the company warned there will still be a restricted service, with many routes having fewer trains and on some routes the trains being replaced by buses at peak times.
Buses will run between Chichester and Havant.
