Surveyors dig deep for cancer charity's efforts

Chartered surveyors Craigard donated £5,000 to Clic Sargent.

Paul Foster, founder of Craigard, said: '˜We are delighted to donate £5,000 towards the new Home from Home in Southampton as we are aware of how important this is for local Hampshire families but also families that have to come and stay for weeks, sometimes.'

Liz Blunt, charity fundraising and engagement manager for south central, said: '˜Sadly, 12 children and young people are diagnosed with cancer every day in the UK and I was very sorry to learn that Paul's family have suffered from a bereavement caused by childhood cancer.  Since 2011, Paul and Craigard have raised over £17,000 to help children and young people with cancer which is incredibly generous.'
