Talks on-going to save SRN4 hovercraft, in Gosport, from being scrapped
TALKS to save one of the largest hovercraft from being scrapped are still ongoing.
Representatives from the Hovercraft Museum, at Daedalus in Lee-on-the-Solent, are hopeful of a positive outcome in their aim to save the SRN4 vessel The Princess Anne.
As previously reported in The News, the Homes and Communities Agency was looking to scrap two SRN4s as the land they are on is needed for development.Thousands of people have signed a petition in a bid to keep the hovercraft in Gosport.
