TLV charity hires new recruits

INCREASING demand for a charity's services has seen it acquire more volunteers.

TLC (standing for Tending, Listening and Comforting) recruits volunteers to support people in the community who have life-limiting conditions and are isolated or being cared for by a family member.

A recruitment drive has seen it take on six new recruits, including a woman from Horndean and a woman from Emsworth.

The headquarters of the charity is in Bordon but volunteers cover Hampshire, Surrey and Sussex.

TLC supports people with cancer, Alzheimer’s, Parkinson’s, stroke and other conditions.
