Waterlooville store to get behind Red Nose Day

RED Nose Day is back and staff and shoppers at a supermarket will be fundraising for Comic Relief.

Over the next few weeks, shoppers and staff at Sainsbury’s in Waterlooville will be working hard to support Red Nose Day, which is next Friday.

Activities at the store include face painting, a treasure hunt, and a 5k run around the shop.

Waterlooville Gospel Choir will also be on hand to entertain, and staff will be wearing red fancy dress.

Store manager Pete Driscoll said: ‘Our colleagues love getting involved with Red Nose Day and we’re all really proud to support such a great cause.

‘There are some brilliant activities planned this year and we look forward to inviting customers to join in with the fun.’

Customers can now pick up Red Noses and other Red Nose Day merchandise to support Comic Relief at the store.

At least 60p from each £1 Red Nose bought in-store will make a real difference to ordinary people, living incredibly tough lives, in the UK and across Africa.
