World's largest passenger ship Harmony of the Seas thrills crowds

The world's largest passenger ship arrived in Hampshire today.

MS Harmony of the Seas, owned by Royal Caribbean, made her way up Southampton Water into Southampton ahead of her maiden cruise.

Crowds gathered to see the huge ship, which cost £783m to build.

She is 1,187ft long and can carry 6,780 passengers.

Harmony of the Seas, which has 20 restaurants, and23 swimming pools, took more than two-and-a-half years to build.

The 230ft tall ship will leave Southampton for a four-night cruise to Rotterdam on May 22.
