A total of eight schools from around the city were presented with awards by Lord Mayor Councillor David Fuller as part of the Tidy Schools and Recycling Superstars Awards.

To win a Tidy Schools Award schools have to keep their grounds clean and tidy and run environmental initiatives both of which involve students. Schools were also asked to run a recycling project for the Recycling Superstars competition.
