Taylor Wimpey representatives gave a talk warning about the hazards that building sites can contain before inviting the pupils to come up with a poster to convey this important message.

The four winning designs, belonging to pupils Balieah Bhoulari, Greg Grzegorz, Connery Meakes and Rebecca Hopkins, will be displayed outside the development.

Amanda Wray, assistant headteacher said: ‘We thought the competition would really raise the profile of health and safety and we were really pleased with the uptake from the children.’
