Hundreds of children join huge singing event at Portsmouth's GuildhallÂ
About 1,400 pupils from schools across the Portsmouth area rallied outside the city centre monument as part of the BBC Music Day.
The children '“Â all aged between six and 16 '“ have been rehearsing for weeks ahead of their show and sung a song specially written for the occasion.

Call One World, the tune was composed by Portsmouth Music Hub as part of the organisation's year-long environmental campaign.
The armada of youngsters were also treated to a special stage show by renowned saxophonist YolanDa Brown '“Â who later performed alongside the pupils during their rendition of One World.
The whole thing was filmed by the BBC and left pupilsÂ
Sue Beckett, chief executive of Portsmouth Music Hub, was delighted by the event and said:Â '˜BBC Music Day was a fantastic occasion, and our city's opportunity to tell the rest of the country that the cultural community in Portsmouth is thriving.'

'˜BBC Music Day brings together musicians and performers from all over the country to celebrate the impact that music has on all our lives and the power that music has to unite communities,' she said.
'˜I know that the BBC were delighted to be filming our special concert with YolanDa Brown, and they were particularly pleased to be part of our One World environmental campaign.
'˜We all know that music has the power to change lives, and if in the next year our music has the power to change the way young people engage with their environment then we'll have made an impact that may last a lifetime.'
