New school to hold open day with robots and tours
A NEW state-funded school specialising in electrical, mechanical engineering and advanced manufacturing, is to hold an open day.
The UTC Portsmouth’s open day for prospective students will take place on Saturday and will feature a special guest appearance by Titan the robot.
The open day will see tours of the site, plus presentations, from 10am until 1pm, at Trafalgar School, Hilsea.
UTC Portsmouth is a new state-funded school for pupils aged 14-19, which opens in September 2017.
