About 90 youngsters from Fairfield Infant School in Havant donned pirate costumes for the excursion to the activity centre.
The school’s Year 1 leader Rachel Arnold said the pupils had enjoyed themselves.
She said: ‘They absolutely loved it.

Hide Ad‘We spent an hour learning how to build a boat – it’s waterproof and it sails.
‘They also used a climbing wall and took part in other activities.’
Mrs Arnold said fictional pirates such as Captain Hook and Jack Sparrow had a timeless appeal.
She said: ‘I think pirates appeal to both girls and boys. They really like the action and adventure of them, and I think they like learning how to speak like a pirate as well.’
