Pupils star in show fit for Kings

Students from The Cowplain School have joined pupils from local primary schools to produce a second exhilarating 'Explore' performance.

Joining The Cowplain School on stage at the Kings Theatre were pupils from Berewood Primary School, Denmead Junior School, Hart Plain Infant School and Padnell Junior School. Workshops for each school were held and teachers and pupils worked with staff and students from Cowplain to produce a diverse range of performances including a body percussion rainstorm, a dance to Jimmy Hendrix and a musical trip around the world.

Sue Dobbyn, Head of Music at Cowplain, said: ‘Once again I have been astounded by the talent and passion shown by over 250 youngsters at the KingsTheatre.’

The evening was hosted by  Year 10 students, Alfie Moth and Erin Mackenzie with the finale seeing a rousing rendition of Can’t Stop the Feeling, This is Me and 500 Miles.
